I rec'd a call in Oklahoma this morning on my cell showing 1-800-288-2020 and unknown. "Becky" left a msg saying she would be calling back from this number from AT&T. CID didn't say AT&T.

A caller from 1-205-201-7270 CLOUD & TIDWELL calls everyday and my line is new 4 the last 8wks +, holidays, weekends, and up to 9PM at night. It was relayed to C&T the party they be looking for does not live here but they call everyday. Now noticed got a call today saying they are AT&T and call them at 1800-288-2020 because they received a call to have my password changed and they want to verify before changing it. Then I get a call 2 minutes later the same call from 1205-201-7270. Sounds like the bottom of the bowl to me. I wish I could ring something on their end in the early morning on my days off. Sort of like the chicken handlers! I have requested they stop calling me I am not the party they are looking for. I do not owe anyone any thing politely but that does not work. I have put these #s on the web to stop them from calling to no avail. Any suggestions out there? Thank you for your reply.

I received a call from this number. AT&T wanting to remind me of my appointment. Now, I'll admit I am forgetful, but I just made the appointment 10 minutes before the call AND the appointment isn't for a couple of days.

This is getting old, I have received two calls from this number and both had a machine notifying me of some tech service appointment. One last week and one today. it said to go to some website to confirm info. I think it's a scam.

I received a call from (800) 288-2020 claiming to be AT&T. The red flag was the call identifier of Legacy Home Solutions! Why would I be getting a call from AT&T without an AT&T Caller ID?! Somebody named Mindy wanted to know my passcode. I told her I wasn't giving her a thing! I also told her I had reported the call to an attorney and to AT&T! When I called AT&T to report it, They said the 800 number was for U-Verse! I don't have a U-Verse account!

Keep getting a call from this number saying we should call back about an important billing matter and to have a credit card ready to make a payment. We make all our payments on time and we've called back and told them this and they say "sorry, our mistake" and hang up....not sure what this is, but I'm not about to give my credit card number over the phone to anyone.

------- FYI - 800-288-2020 - Legitimate deduction from account. ---------I recently had an automatic payment of 64 cents that showed up with the 800-288-2020 number on it. It turned out to be legitimate. I made a payment by check ( cuz I forgot I signed up for auto-payment ). So they deducted the amount of the check and simply charged me for the difference ( 64 cents ).

Asking for At&t customer pin number and for last 4 digits of SSN. I don't have At&t service.

Got a call on my cell phone from this number. It was AT&T calling to see if I was interested in reconnecting my landline and DSL service. I canceled both services from AT&T months ago and will never go back to that godawful service and told them that. They proceeded to call me 3 more times begging. Buffoons!

1 800 288 2020 Recorded message stating it was AT&T stating that my account was going to be suspended. I don't have AT&T so hung up.
