I have been getting a few calls on my cell from this number with no voice mail. My cell # is on the "do not call" registry. After reading the above posts I am reluctant to call them back and tell them to desist.

6.15.12This is Dish Network. If you have recently cancelled service you can expect this call. To stop the telemarketing calls, postal mail and Email you need to call 1 800 333 3474. Dial 1 for english and stay on the line. It will prompt you about 3-4 times but ignore, eventually it will send you to a live agent. make a note of time and date.

I received 3 calls 1/2 hour apart from this number - I did not answer any since I did not know the number. But I do have an appointment set up with DISH tomorrow and did receive a call from the tech telling me he'll be here between 12-5.

The number just called, I found the number here and it look very familiar, I called and a recording said dish network. punch 9. A man said the call was from dish reminding me of my appointment for tomorrow and said that I don't have a pin number and I could use the last four digits of my ssn. I told him I don't use my ssn for anything. He said ok you can use the four digits of your phone numbers, I said ok and he said if there is anything I can help you with? I said no and and bye, and he said bye.My old tv went out saturday and I bought 2 tvs to replace the old ones, after they are installed I will not be answering my phone from them with their sales pitch.

they are now advertising on Dish channel 349 OFFER for an exclusive offer to experience other premium movie channels at no additional cost. After reading the older posts above, what do you think? A deal or another trap?

Someone from this numer called and said my friend could get additional upgraded service on Dish for $360.00. I would have to got to WalMart and buy a money card and then let them know the number and PIN. Once that was done, they would upgrade the service. My friend did that, but found out later it was a scam. She called Dish and they said her bill was current, and that they had not contacted her about upgrading service. So, it appears that someone is spoofing Dish's number for a scam. If you get called, hand up and call Dish yourself.

Spaced out on the number when I saw it pop up but as soon as I was it on google I remembered the ...3474. Yes this is dish network. I have dealt with them form almost 4 years. I have also called this number directly. This number is 100% authentic and you can call it safely. We LOVE our dish network and find their customer service and follow up EXCEPTIONAL. I hope this helps clear anyone's confusion.

SEVERAL CALLS TODAY WITH NO ONE ON THE OTHER END AND NO MESSAGE LEFT.

I have been getting calls from this number atleast 6 or 7 times a day. when I redialed it goes to Dish and they said they don't know anything about the call. these are indian guys on the other side. I have reported that to Dish and they are not aware of anything and they said they will put a note not to call. But keep getting it. Some other company is using Dish number and trying to get the information. hope some one will correct it.
