Whoever this caller is ( It can be traced easy ) I am reporting them to the Government FAIR DEPT COLLECTION PRACTICES ACT ( FDCPA ) I hope they are reading because they know who that is . I have a copy of their message stating that they are my employer leaving their phone number . I will go as far as I can and have these bottom feeders busted . This is against the law and they know it , I guess they figure us stupid people do not know their rights .Whatever action it takes I WILL SEE THAT THEY GET THEIR JUSTICE . Who do they think they are .They entered my home through a phone call claiming they are my employer . I will be using state agents who know much more about their crime . If you get a call from these people make sure you record it , They are counting on us not knowing what to do . Contact the FDCPA and help get these crimals off our backs .
Go for it! They have called and left messages on my answering machine for 2 years now. I do not return their calls because I am not in debt to anyone and I know they have the wrong number. In the past I tried to convince debt collectors I was just given this new number by the phone company and was getting the past *owner's* calls. They gave me a hard time like I was lying and I was the innocent party! I'm all for getting them booted. ;-)
A black man (I could notice his accent) called my wife's cell and got my cell number from her telling her that it was an emergency. When I got his call, he gave me an unknown address for the due bill and tried to trick me in giving him my social due to an unpaid balance for a Sprint Account. We had an issue with Sprint several years ago, but it got resolved. We do not used them anymore. After I refused giving him any personal info, he became angry and treaten me with more phone calls to my job number. The funny parts are that the address he gave me does not match any of my old ones, nor my current address, neither the number he called is my work number, as he said it was ... Many missing links in that call.Be aware, hope you do not fall for it either.THX ...
I have been receiving phone calls from 800-369-4319 for this past week ending on August 17, 2007-Friday, the date of this notation. The young female caller asked for Guillermo Cordero, and I stated I know him but he does not reside here, and what company she represents. She replied, I'll remove your phone number from my list, and said it was a personal matter.Mr. Cordero is a senior citizen over 65 years old with a heart condition, and receives Social security disability, if they were aware of the law, they would know you cannot lien on government benefits to collect a debt.
Ive been getting these calls for about 2 weeks now, when I answer its just an automated voice telling me that all their agents are with other customers. You called me! I'm not waiting on hold. I don't owe anyone any money I'm fresh out of college and debt free minus my School loans which are up to date. I want them to stop calling but I cannot request to be removed from the list when a robot answers. I'm starting to get angry especially when they call while I'm at work.
Recently, I've been getting calls from (800) 360-4319, including one from "Jennifer", who is mentioned in earlier reports here. I called them back yesterday, but the man who answered would not tell me who they are or anything else. Instead, he asked me for my name and other personal info, which I refused to provide, of course, and hung up. If they can't even tell you their name or business, something is fishy. Many here have said that they are a Debt Collection Agency. However, I doubt that they are in fact legitimate debt collectors, based on the way they act. Instead, they're probably just scammers, preying upon the most vulnerable among us.
