This caller was looking for someone I haven't seen or talked to in years. When I asked who they were they refused. They asked if I knew the person and became rude when I asked who they were. They seemed to be searching any avenue to find the person they were seeking. I have seen this number on my caller ID at different times of the day and night. I refused to answer since I live alone and had no idea who was calling.
I get the same call you all get. This is Jennifer, reference code blah blah blah. I ignored probably about 50 of these calls but finally I picked up the phone and said hello. It bounced ma around twice saying it's transferring my call. After that it asked if my name was Salvator and gave me 4 options. 1. Yes 2. I can get him on the phone 3. No. He no longer lives here 4. Never heard of him. I chose 4 and it transfered me again saying an operator will verify the information. I finally got a person who answered the phone National Recovery Agency. I told her to stop harassing people and never call me again. Sounds like a scam to me. I am a very nice guy, but if they keep calling I may need to get very abrasive with them. Them calling at 8 am when I work nights is ridiculous. I may become unglued if they wake me up again.
I don't answer unknown calls either but they have called several times and have left messages, each one different. Today they said it was about business and to have the "professional" courtesy to return the call. Sorry I don't call anyone that doesn't identify themselves. They also sound put out when they call.
Add me to the list of people called by this number. After reading that it was a debt collection agency, I took a minute to look at my credit report at Experian, linking through the 'annualcreditreport.com' link Pete listed above (22 Feb 2008). It showed no debts outstanding, no problems with my credit history. I know of no obligations unpaid, and I'm going to try ignoring NRA. If that doesn't work, I'll file complaints at BBB and FTC. When a computer calls me, tells me that their operators are busy, asks me to hold, and then asks me to call another number, they're out to lunch.
they have been calling my father several times a week about a debt from 2001 and 2003 from st joseph hospital nj. he has never been in that hospital and the first time they call they told him he owe $28 and now they call again and said he owed $698 this is BS big time they are a fraud.don't sent any payments to this people. they said they will send you the bill at home they never do. and they will call again and ask to get paid by phone.
The best thing to do is to call the number back and ask them to remove it from their system because it is a cell phone. Trust me. They will remove it. They removed mine
The do not call list does not apply.Call the number back and tell them it is your cell phone and you need them to stop calling. They will stop
These people call all the time looking for someone who does not live here? They will not even tell me who they are and then they hang up on me. Is there anyway to stop these calls?
1-800-360-4319 has been calling for months for someone else. I told them I've had this number for 4 yrs. I am not Doris. Quit calling, take my number off. They still keep calling.
NURSERY DISCOVE......This is one of the names that shows up on my callerID, sometimes the same number (800-360-4319) but with unknown name, thesepeople are nuts, they buy what they think are bad debits, even though most are not and have been settled. They will bully, intimidate, and use any means possible to have people send them money.....don't do it.
