Most likely a scam. I think they are spoofing the Universal Card 800 number in an effort to mask the (il)legitimacy of their call/operation.

When I answered it was a recording telling me that they have made several attempts to contact me about my balance on my credit card to press 1 to speak to a customer service about my pass due balance. Press 2 to decline. I pressed 2, it connected me to this guy. He asked how I was doing today. I said fine, please remove my from your call list. He said can you go f*** yourself. He hung up on me when I told my husband that he was being vulgar.

Calls and leaves no message- another scammer nuisance caller!! I too don't answer unfamiliar numbers any more. Mostly scammers and nuisance calls like this one!

missed call. Callback connected to automated system, ATT universal card. Immediately wanted my credit card number. DO NOT CALL LIST IS A JOKE.....DOESN'T STOP THEM!!!

No voicemail left

has called me everyday for like 3 days now (sometimes even twice in a row) leaves a message with nothing and is really annoying!! blocked

Caller left no vm.

Called my cell twice. I don't answer unfamiliar numbers. I figure if the call's legit they'll leave a message. They didn't. Blocked the number after checking reports.Thank you to this (and other) reporting services, and the people who take the time to report.
