Same as the others, spoofed 800 number. Some sort of credit card scam.

Called , advised to help me w/my high balance and high rates. I put him on mute till he got tired..

Keeps calling

Robocall.

Recording telling me that they have made several attempts to contact me about my balance on my credit card to press 1 to speak to a customer service about my pass due balance. I don't have credit cards - SCAM!

ATT doesn’t call at 7:00 AM. The number might be spoofed, but it’s a scam.

Msg to contact them to lower my interest rate. Uh-huh! And anyone who falls for that line is a fool. Repeat after me, scam, scam scam! We get this call at least 3 times per week from various numbers.

Same jive as the others explained above. I pressed 1 and when the Hindu or Muslim sounding male answered I cussed his [***] out until after 2 minutes straight he finally started calling me a son of a [***] and I continued casting doubts about his manhood and told him to knock on my door if he wanted to see his 72 virgins. He finally hung up.

Of course the "do not call list" doesn't stop them. These people are scammers. They're already breaking the law. It doesn't make it a joke. These people are not operating within the law. Any other legitimate calls you get from telemarketing is because you didn't read a contract that you signed giving them specific permission to call you for any reason, including marketing (Verizon, ATT, DirectTV, many more hide these things in the contracts they make you sign).You didn't think that comment out, did you?
