I would send the offending CA a cease communication letter mentioning being a non-debtor repeated harassed in violation of the TCPA.When they violate the letter (they will) find a consumer attorney and sue for the TCPA violations.To hell with reasoning with them ... just use the law.
Got a call from 18005213236 last night - woman asked me (told me my name) and told me I had to verify it was me before she would tell me who she was - I had seen on tv where they get you to say "yes" and use your credit card info to purchase things - it also said this was being recorded - watch out people - thank god for watching the news. I ain't no dumbass !!!
I've had the same number call me about 20 times in the past week. Always a hang up but one time went to voice mail but said nothing but I could hear it was a call center. I did not call them back nor would I ever. These guys are scanners just like the ones who say there is a virus on your computer. Don't trust this number and block it, I did.
Called asking for my wife. Refused to say why. When I pressed him for whom he was with he made a race issue over it - then said there was no message to leave.
