This caller has been messin' since a couple of months now. I have nothing to do with them and they say something about my plan. One time I answered and all I said, before they even could say anything in case they're not computers is not to effing call EVER again; yet, they stilll do.
Caller with an Indian accent, clearly working in a call center, said he was calling from AT&T & Direct TV. When I pressed him on that he said he was calling FOR AT&T & Direct TV and had a promotional offer. He refused to say which firm he actually works for.
This is Direct TV. I am a senior that has only social security. I could not continue with my contract and had to cancel with about 8 months to go on a 2 yr contract. I have never been late on payment but came into a health problem and could not continue and asked them to waive the cancellation fee. They would not and have been harassing me constantly. Obviously, the fee of $180. is more important than helping. I do not have funds to pay this now they can go fish.

Its Direct tv. left a voicemail reminding me to redeem my rebates, even though i had already done so..
I get these calls from DirecTV, they never leave a message when I let the answering machine screen it. I am a customer, more or less happy with my service, always auto-pay the bills on time. This happens to me every 4 years or so, I call them up and tell them to be put on a "don't call list" no calls from them with upgrade offers, no calls from their contractors. They do, and the calls stop. But every now and then the whole system seems to reset. I suppose some VP or dept manager just has to push it and try to get his/her marketing bonus.
Got a welcome call from this number. It was my Direct TV instaler who showed up on time and did a great job installing my equipment. I love the service and value of direct TV!! Also, when I was comparing Direct TV to other cable companies like Charter, I noticed that Charter for instance had a lot of confusing fine print and hidden extras in the fine print that cost a lot. With Dicret TV the price was the price, period. No extras unless I added them myself after they explained to me how much they would cost. I am VERY HAPPY with Direct TV (and I do not work for them =)
An automated call came in saying it was to help collect a debt and to call it back. I did and it was DirectTV. I have never had their service and never will. The rep said there was no record of my phone number. I did refuse to give my name, but did give my number, figuring they already had it. I told her if they call again I will be filing a complaint with BBB and whomever else I can think of. I do not owe anyone money and this freaked me out.
