Just received a call from this number. Call wasn't answered because the caller ID field showed a suspicious looking series of numbers and letters. Caller ID shows: V20603463500002
They called again. I have told them to stop but they do not. I am going to find out who to contact and file a complaint.
indian caller barely able to speak english claiming i was a direct tv user. i am not never have been and probably will never be a user of direct tv. it is some type of scam so i hung up on him. caller id read 800 service so who knows who the caller really was probably spoofing direct tv's number to fish for personal info.
Received multiple phone calls from 800-531-5000 at 6:30 in the morning! Asked not to be called again, and the person on the other end of the line was obviously in India. DIRECTV FAIL!
I got 3 phone calls on Sunday from direct tv and told them I was not interested, I already have what they were offering.. today I got home and see I have 9 calls from direct tv, 4 of those calls left messages.. So I called direct tv and complained. I asked that they stop these calls.. The woman says they can do that and then starts trying to sell me the packages.. I asked her to look at my account to see what I had,, she was silent.. that is when I told her I would cancel if I got anymore calls... problem has been solved...
It's Directv. I just resubscribed to them and they called twice today w/o leaving a message. I just called them and they didn't know why I got the calls (unless it was related to the issue yesterday with my HD local channels that disappeared and then came back last night). The woman I spoke to apologized for the calls as she didn't see anything in my account about why I might've received the calls.

CID = TOLL FREE CALL. I answered and he said he was John with directv. He sounded like HE was in India or Pakistan. He wanted me to add directv to my bill with all kinds of other free stuff for only$4.95 per month. This particular caller is undoubtedly a scam, but even a "legitimate" directv telemarketing call is a scam.I told him I wasn't interested to put me on their do not call list and that I didn't want to ever hear from him again. Doubt it will do any good. This is the second scammer calling today claiming to be marketing AT&T services
