Repeatedly calling my phone. Two days in a row now. A woman said "hello" and then my name. She immediately hung up.
I got a call today from that number telling me that my magazine subscriptions were coming up for renewal...I said great please cancel all of them...Then I was informed that I would then owe them 20 payments of 49.90, or $998.00 When I asked exactly what magazines I was getting from them, they said that they couldn't tell me as that was private information. In addition, I am old and all of a sudden I am receiving Ebony and Sports Illustrated...I'm more the crossword and gardening type!
the last time we had a call from the computer scam people, I asked for their number so that I could call them back when I could have time at my computer so they could "fix" my problem and delete my virus. Yeah, right! They gave me the 800-555-1212 number. The same call before that, when I asked for their number to call back, they disconnected. Figures.
i got charged 1.99 on my tmobile bill for calls on this number. do not answer and call back.
There are all raju's imported from India who try to take your account details for fake and scam call by congratualting you for the gift voucher you won other no. they have is 8665121011
I received a call from this number on the 23rd. T-mobile has charged me $1.99 directory assistance for this incoming call. This is some type of spoofing scam so be sure to call your mobile carrier if you are charged $1.99 for directory assistance for this call. I'll say that you probably have a bill charge for it.
I got a call from this number too, no message left. They can't make you pay for anything they send you in the mail that you didn't request. Search for "Receipt of Unsolicited Merchandise" and the post office has a page on "Title 39" that anything sent to you, if you didn't order it, is yours totally free. Finders-keepers.And odds are they didn't even actually send you anything. But either way you can use this information to show them you know the law and that they can't legally make you pay anything.
