At least I now know who calls and doesn't leave messages. Report all your info to the FTC and the Attorney General of your state. The Attorney General Mike Dewine in Ohio has a website for this and sends me a monthly report on scams and fraud. Check out your state. I am on the do not call list but they somehow bypass it.

I called the credit bureau Experian 800-583-4080 to report the passing of my husband when she went into a spiel about receiving $100 worth of something free. I had to tell her twice before she stopped trying to sell me something. Then she gave me this number to call but thank goodness I came here before calling it. How the heck do you get up with the 3 main credit reporting agencies?

This number is directory assistance for 800 numbers only. My caller ID said it was at&t. "As a valued customer press one for your 100 dollar gift card reward, pr3ss two to be taken off our list"...DO NOT PRESS ANY BUTTONS. IT IS NOT AT&T. IT IS A RELENTLESS SCAM ARTIST. NEXT TIME you see your name and numbet or this 800 directory assistance number, don't even answer it. ALL of our calls are teles-scams lately. My dad is a senior who does cannot tell the difference anymore. Instruct your senior loved ones not to give any info.

We got this call. Caller ID says it is AT&T. We never answered and they never left a message. We ordered magazines about a year ago from a relative through his school. I wonder if there is any connection.

Always call but no message

800-555-1212 automated voice telling me that I was a valued customer (of which store? who knows) and that I had a gift voucher that was good at many local retailers. It just jumped right into its spiel with no mention of what company they represented. All I had to do was to press 1 (or press 5 to be removed from their list). I decided to just hang up. My number is on the do not call list...

They keep calling to give me a life insurance quote.
