Wow, so there's a place where sociopaths can get "work" (if you can call it that) - Verizon Collections! Oh, and thanks for letting us know this site is working.
yes this is Verizon. My cell is past due and I confirmed it is their office calling to get the bill taken care of.
I don't even have a Verizon account and I never have. Now I know why. They suck. I called the 800 number to let them know that they have been calling me daily and then they asked for my SSN. I wouldn't give it to them so they said they couldn't help me and they are sorry. Idk if it is phishing but its definitely annoying.
My bill is paid on time every month, I do NOT live beyond my means and am NOT a deadbeat. THIS IS A SCAM PEOPLE! Legit businesses do not call customers over and over daily and not leave a message. It has gotten so incredibly easy to find customer info and SEEM legitmate these days. Thus fooling people like you. I guess the name fits "ID1OTS".

Not all ARE Verizon customers. If you read through you'll find quite a few who have NEVER had an account with Verizon. In my few experiences with bill collectors, they always leave a message on their final attempt to call you of the day. This number never EVER leaves a message. I don't really know if it is phishing or not but I know I'm not going to answer it.
1) Verizon will ALWAYS show up as Verizon on caller ID.....Always. No Exceptions2) Check your bill / statement.....Verizon calls are never charged...ever. No Exceptions.Do what I did and report the number.

This caller claimed to be a rep from Intuit/QuickBooks & we needed to renew our Subscription for $1899.99. After asking a few questions things sounded strange. Asked her for our PIN # & she did not give the correct number.
Call came in. Hello, hello. No response. Disconnected. Suspect possibly WELLS Fargo (WF) , but no actual idea. Don't trust one moment.
