When I picked up, it said" hello, this is California Department of ..."then hang up. My husband said he received this kind of call just before his driving test. It seems a reminder by machine.
Also received a call from this number. It was again the California DMV with an automated reminder message about a legitimate upcoming appointment I scheduled.
The automated message starts with a LONG string of silence, then the DMV appointment message finally kicks in after about 10 seconds. The silence threw me off, and I hung up the first time.
Interesting - I got the call but no message. I have an upcoming appointment with DMV next week.Seems legit
Lol this is kind of funny. I didn't answer, but this is an automated message from the California DMV about an upcoming appointment at a location in Simi valley or something. What's super funny is.....I live in Phoenix....Arizona. And it sounds like someone used their online form but might have made a typo in their number or something.

Claims to be from a roofing team. Somehow knows real name and city. I keep getting texts like this from different numbers, they stop responding when I ask how they have my number.
