We have been getting calls with caller ID displaying different numbers and one displaying this number which happens to be valid IRS number. While typing this now, I got another call from # 914-612-7258 from some one identifying as officer Watson (female) with a very heavy accent. I asked her - she is officer from what government and what country and then hanged up. This is becoming very annoying.

They are calling and say they have my physical address - when I challenged them they got all pissy and made threatening statements about what they would do to my wife.I'll provide flow up here as to where I get with reporting these people.

Why the IRS does not get involved, is very annoying having this people with a heavy accent call saying that are from IRS and very difficult to understanding them and the government does'nt do nothing

SCAM ALERT! PLEASE BE AWARE! Scammers are somehow using this number to show up on Caller ID. This number has called at least 15 times just today. It's a strong Indian accent male uses very easy names (John Smith). He left a message with a different call back number 1-888-650-4784. He says he's from the IRS, has my full name, last four of my social and says I'll get arrested. They are very persistent.

BIG TIME SCAM... just don't do it.

Got a call with threathening message from this number which is programmed in the scammer's phoneto make it real. Indian call, very irritating. Real IRS will not call or email you, according to the real IRSwebsite, IRS will mail you notice. BIG SOPHISTICATED SCAM!!!!!

1st phone was from 202-506-9656 officer Brian smidex very threatening. He said is this phone number!!!!!!!!!!!! I said yes. He said don't say a word until I'm finished I started to say something and he said did you understand you're not to say anything until I'm finished. Is your lawyer there you owe the IRS $5,000. And you have 30. Min to. Get and send to us. Told him I was going to call the IRS he said wait let me get my supervisor another man named Sebastian Cabot gets on the line and said he was from restoration dept I ask him for his badge # he said 1034776 told him I was going to call irs and turn this #in he hung up. Within I get a call from 800-829-1040. Then today I get a call from 202-222-2222 didn't answer.

Numerous calls from this number with aggressive person on line. Demanding to speak to Owner. Indicated today that he is from "National Debt Relief" and wants to handle case of someone who owes us money. (Debt collection in reverse of what others report) Gives a different number to call back. Asked if I could read off what number is on caller ID. I told him I could not once I answer the phone.

Second call today from this IRS number which is obviously spoofed. This time, caller ID says PRO RES OFC, last time it said 'Unavailable.' This time the caller said they had a legal notice against us, but hung up when I said we would welcome the opportunity to meet them in court.

I received a voice message from Michelle White from the IRS Tax Audit Department saying they had received a petition involving tax fraud in my name and social security number and was to be filed in Federal Court (house).I am instructed to call immediately to receive information about my case and if I don't. respond I'll be arrested. This lady fits the stereo type of an over seas call center worker.It's obviously a fraud so let your elderly family friends and neighbors know not to be taken in.
