I got the call, pressed the option for a live agent, the agent wanted to lower the annual percentage rate on my card and asked which card had the higher interest rate and he could reduce it to 6 1/2 percent because I was eligible for making my payments on time. I said Visa, he asked me what the interest rate was and I said I was not sure, he asked if it was over 10% I said yes, he asked for the balance I said I was not sure so he asked if it was over 3000 dollars I said yes. The guy asked me for the expiration date to which I said I would not give that to him because he called me and I did not call him and I would need a number to call him back at. He gave me the number 800-847-2911 and his extension as 268 his name is Alessandro. I told him it would be a while before I could call back and he became concerned and wanted me to call right now. This is a scam. Watch out!!!

I have been getting these calls also.Normally just hangup.Decided to play along today.Was speaking with Mona Leng #09825.She wanted my credit card # and when I refused instantly hung up.Well obviously its a scam.So I called Visa Customer Service.Kind of got a cold shoulder about it.They werent even slightly interested in the info I got.Just said its probably a scam.Not sure at this point whats worse the scammers or Visa for thier indifference to the situation.

I have been getting calls from this number for months, knew it was a scam because they said "there are no problems with my credit card account at this time" but I could lower my interest rates...blah, blah, blah. Well, we don't have any credit cards. So everytime I try to fish for info on the compay name, the caller would hang up on me. Well, today I tried playing along, the woman told me it was "Account services of Visa & Mastercard", then when I told her I didn't have any credit cards, she said "then why did you say you did you stupid f...ing B..ch." I am shocked & plan on calling the attorney general.

Yes they just called saying there was a $900.internet charge on my credit card and did I want to approve this charge.. He gave me the first three numbers on the card which are not mine..Would not give me the name on the card.. I would not give him my name or confirm the three numbers.. he got REALLY annoyed at me because I would not cooperate with him.He ended up threatening me that he was going to hang up on me.. LOL Finally he did hang up without any information.. told him to NOT process any charge on ANY card... Then I called the number on the back of my cards and alll is well.. No charges pending or otherwise.... Then I called THE VISA number he called me on.. Appears it really is a visa number...they have confirmed that thhacked eir number has been hacked the visa number and are scamming folks... SO beware ... of 1-800-847-2911

I just called the Federal Trade Commission. They know about it, but they said they can't find the people. (Seems so odd) Anyway, I say if we keep bombarding them, maybe something will happen.

I just got a call from 1-800-visa-911 and got a guy saying we could take advantage of a lower interest rate because we pay all our credit cards on time. Well nobody could know that ,and I asked for a number to verify his company and I just don't feel it is legit. Sick and tired of people calleing for this and charities wanting a large amount 100.00 starting. HOly cow. Noone has that just to throw out to every damned charity anyway.

This man was from card services, said he could lower my credit card interest because mine was high, He told me they were the ones who initially approve people for their cards and send the go ahead to the credit card companies ti give you a card. I asked him to call me back in 10 minutes, he told me he was not allowed to return calls. He then asked how many cards I do have and in the same sentence also said he could see that I make all my payments on time. I asked him why his number came up as private with no name, he told me if they gave their information then everyone would call and bug them, I asked again if he would call me back in 5 minutes telling him he had woke me up and I needed to clear my head, (I was searching for info online about them) He did give me this info than I hung up and now I am on phone with my credit card company.His info1-800-847-2911Mark AntonioID 671said he was in Florida
