Received a call from this number on my business phone but didn't answer it. Shortly thereafter I got a call from the same number on my cell phone. I did answer the cell phone call in hopes of telling the caller to take me off of their list but only got a recorded female voice telling me that I was eligable for lower interest rates, as low as 6%, but that the offer was soon to expire. If I wanted to apply all I had to do was press 1. I hung up instead. From the posts here it appears that these folks have been doing this for quite some time and that the powers that be are doing nothing about it.
I received a call from this # today, the two people i spoke to were very adamant about getting our account info if we had any.... and proceeded to tell me they were affiliated wit Visa-Mastercard and represented 500+ of the nations operating banks. When i declined to offer my info and asked to do some personal research on the company i was given 800-847-2911 to call for follow up and the man on the line became very irritated and became nasty at teh fact i wouldnt give them info. Upon disconnecting our call, I immediately called the bank told them of the instance and was told yes, this is a known scam. reported it to the FTC. DONT GIVE ANY INFO OUT!
Received call Thurs. Oct. 14th around 7:30 P.M.Gave her name as Rachael and said no problem with credit card but call number immediately. I just hung up as also feel it is a fraud to get your number and information. I see a lot of complaints was on this number. They are big pains and I never would give info to anyone.
Rec'd call from this number, no message left. caller id said"visa lost - stolen" Did not pick up...suspect scam as I have NO credit cards.
Just got a call from them: Florida, 305-836-7371 on caller ID. Despite message saying that this is the "last chance", they've kept calling. I tried to talk to them once before, to let them know that we're on teh do not call list, and asking to speak with a supervisor. Quickly got hung up on. This time I asked for a # incase we got disconnected, and got 1-800-847-2911. That's how I found this link. I've already sent my complaint to the FCC, and will continue to do so with each call. Hopefully everyone does the same, and these bottom dwellers get shut down.
SCAM - left message that "it is urgent to contact them to lower interest rate to as little as 6.9% - my eligibility expires shortly"Caller ID said "VISA LOST-STOLE" - what a scam.
Thanks to the people who post here to report what sounds like a fraud and scam.I didn't recognize the number. No information came up on caller I.D. other than this phone number. I didn't answer. No one left a message. If you don't know the caller, don't answer. Simple rule that can save you lots of grief.
rec'd call, almost gave up info., but checked google after I asked the guy several questions about his company etc. he gave me the number above and when I saw these posts, I told him (after about 10 min. of conversation) that I wasn't interested, he hung up on me. Said his name was Jason. I filled out the form and reported it to the FCC.
I received a call from this number on my home phone today. I am on the government do not call list. I called the number back and a very convincing male voice leads you through the menu to "Enter your card number now". I hung up and called my credit card service and they said that they did not have any offers or recent phone calls concerning my cards.
