We too have gotten that stupid note taped to our door even though we tried to go through the modification process and were DENIED by Chase and we are now short selling our home. This phone number has again started to appear on my cell phone. And, yes it is Chase Mortgage collections not a scam. Chase went to the Government with their hands out yet they are NOT helping any of their mortgagors. They would rather take back properties and perpetuate this downward spiral than work with their clients on their instant mortgages. We are more than 30% upside-down on our property and we didn't do any crazy loan just the typical 30 year fixed with the going interest rate in 2004. Now look at what the greedy banks (Chase, Bank of America, etc.) have caused!

They keep calling my cell and asking for a Gerald. I tell them they have the wrong number and to take my number off their list. An hour later they call again. I asked to speak to a manager and they told me no and hung up. They have been calling 5-6 times a day for 2-3 weeks now. I am pissed.

Yes, it is Chase Home Finance. They called me twice today (4/6/10) but left no message so I called them.My pymt is due the first. Today is the 6th and already they are calling.I mailed out my paymt on the first. The lady I spoke to said it usually takes about 10 days via mail to get pymt.....she said she'd note my acct so I would not get a call again....

I have gotten a call on my cell form them. They said that I had a check bounce and I said that is so funny. The man went on to tell me that a bounced check is nothing to laugh about and how bad it could get for me if I did not pay the amount that was bounced a long with late charges and fees. Then I said no it’s funny because I have never even had a bank account. I just cash my paychecks and head on my way. We don’t even have a Chase bank around our town. I think the closes one is about an hour and a half drive away.

They called me last nite with the whole thing about me being late with my payment I explained to "Kelly Cullen", clearly a fake name, that I always pay between the 12 and 15. She kept insisting I was late, I then told her to stay on the line while I call Chase and we 3 way called, the rep that answered assured that I was not late as long as payment made it to them by the 16th. Now what is going on here, how is it that two people from the same 800-848-9380 have two different stories. This has to be harrasment, and also Chase is giving sensitive infirmation to some foreign call-center. This can't be right, we have to have some sort of protection or case here for a class action suit against Chase. Any lawyer out there please lets get this law suit ball rollingeac.nyc@gmail.com

at least they wait until you're 14 days late...they start calling us on the 2nd of every month, and we are current...if they don't have the payment on the 2nd, like if the 1st or 2nd fallds in the middle of the week and we are paying at the end of the week when we get paid, I'll tell them I'll be making the payment online and they will still try to get me to do a check by phone. that costs $15 to $20 every time you do it. If I ever get away from Chase, I will never deal with them again.

Keep getting calls from 888-748-4956. Every two minutes. Any idea who it is?

This is nothing, (well not nothing ) But, CHASE has been calling me everymorning, I could set my alarm to it, and the oten yell at me threaten me, they are going to forclose, evict, sue etc. On top of this my credit rating must be in the crapper, the bad part, the reason I haven't made a apyment in 8 months, my last payment was for 109K the day I paid my house off. I was disabled in the workpalce and used the award to pay off all bills. is there anything we can do to stop these people I too have talked to everyone and still 9:40 the phone rings

I have explained since their first call that this is my new number.The person they are looking for is no longer at this number.I have asked to be removed from their calling list.They have not and continue to call.

Calls start between 8 am and 9 am every morning. Get several a day. Have asked them to put me on their No-Call list. I am on the Do Not Call registery.
