Called for the owner of the company I work for. Said she was the "go to" person for his american express business account and that she's left several messages. When I asked if everything was ok with the account, she repeated that she was just the "go to" person for his business account and just have him return her call. Sounded like a load of crap to me tho.

Just received a call from this number - when I told them my husband was not here, they hung up. Tried to call back and speak with someone; they dropped the call the first time, and second time they couldn't pull up the loan information. Our payment is late by about 14 days. Shouldn't be a big deal, since it's the first time it's been late. This economy is horrific, and we're late on many things these past few months. The person on the phone was not rude or impolite in any way - unlike some of the other calls we've dealt with over the past week. Some of these creditors are like vultures - they can't offer you enough credit and perks when you're paying on time - but as soon as you've got some financial issues to deal with, they throw you under the bus. It's been a painful few weeks...

I just got a call from this number 800-848-9380 some one who could not speak english said somthing about Chase. I have no accounts with Chase. if you call Chase you will get someone who speaks english. I told them about the number and they said it is not one of theirs. so I think some off shore scamer's are using it to get imformation. I would say it is a scam!!! beware do not give them any imformation.

None stop calls for someone not at this phone address. Calls on weekends and evening hours.

keep getting calls. we do not have a chase account and never have. we have told them this about a dozen times now.

We did not receive a call from this number, but received a Doorknob "Important Information Enclosed" envelope.It has 800-848-9380 as the number to contact Collections, but no other info. on the notice.The WIERD stuff: it was not put on the doorknob, they did not knock on our door (who knows when it was dropped off), there is no company name on the paper. I think it is also a SCAM.We are customers of Chase, and this is NOT how they contact their customers. They always call, send mail, and even send Registered mail (which requires a signiture by the receipiant)for important documents.SCAM SCAM SCAM

Today (858)926-4423 has called me at 3:15, 5:01, 5:30, 5:51 and 6:13... This is INSANE!! I feel completely harrassed. If I could get ahold of these people, THEY would need healthcare!

this number calls everyday about 20 times. i have not ideal who or what they want. there is not anyone on the line when i answer. some people

We also recieved the "Doorknob envelope". it was hanging on the flag of our mailbox. We called the number to Chase off of our statement and asked them about it. They verifed that it was them who had it put there. But we had already taken care of it by then, so no worries.
