This is Spectrum and they call when your payment is due or overdue. However, these calls can be annoying because they call sometimes up to 4 times a day.
They called I have a tech appt tomorrow so they left a voicemail saying I could terminate the tech or change the appt. But since my speed is so low, that's why the tech is coming.
I just got a call from this number. It was their automated phone service confirming my service appointment tomorrow.
I called Spectrum, to ask a quote for internet service, but when they try to get my personal info I hanged up the phone, the following day I received a call (from an automatic or prerecorded call) to confirm that I had an appointment at my home to install the service, (that I never requested). They mention in their menu an option to cancel, but oh surprise!! I received the message that Nobody can take my call!!! Mmmmh, how convenient for them.Today I received 2 more calls that I didn't answer.
My neighborhood has been having issues with spectrum (charter/time warner) internet and I called them when my service went out again today and they said a service person was going to call me back. When they called back using this number, my smart phone's call blocking app blocked it due to this number being on the FCC spam report which syncs to this app, so I had to white list this number on my call blocker and they finally were able to call me back using this number.Just be aware that Spectrum does use this number for service call backs and therefore this number is legitimate (at least when you're expecting a call back from their tech dept). If you have a call blocking app with the Sync FCC Report option, make certain to turn the app off if you're expecting a call back from Spectrum or place this number in the app's white list else they'll just close out your support ticket if they can't get a hold of you. I had found that adjusting settings in the call blocking app didn't help because once the phone number is on that FCC list, it blocks the caller of this number from even being able to reach your voicemail unless it's placed on the white list (at least the one I use does this, unsure if all call blocking apps are similar or not). I prefer not to say what call blocker I'm using because it hasn't been updated for a year (as well as the FCC list) as this app may have unfortunately been abandoned, but I still feel it was definitely worth purchasing. Also it won't help being on the Do Not Call registry if you are using Spectrum's Cable service as this is a legitimate number that they use. I have found it just doesn't really help being on that registry at all because it doesn't stop the scammer robocallers anyhow who keep trying to fill up my voicemail box as the downside of the call blocking app, that I use, is that it doesn't block new numbers, but I did read a recent news report that this issue is being worked on and hopefully these annoying calls we all keep getting will soon be stopped.
Received a call from this number on my work cell phone. Message said it was for the account of some other person and it was an important message. Also said if they reached the wrong person to go on their website. Right. I don't even have Time Warner Spectrum. Blocked call.
