Just had the same call. called back that number 8009559060. I told them I didn't trust who they were. They said to call the number of my other Chase card. I did and everything seemed legit

Either you are a horrible Liar or you are naive. This phone number is a SCAM (1.800.955.9060) Chase does not have this number listed on their fraud department. If you have given out your information to this number, I wish you the best don't get your identity stolen. Good luck !

You are right! This phone number is a SCAM! They left two messages saying they are from fraude department calling regarding my Toys R Us credit card has some unusual activities on my accounts. I called just to find out what's going on. The first woman said her computer is not working so she transferred me to another person. Since I entered a credit card number ( fake number) so this second lady asked my birthday so I gave them the real one. It took her about 3 minutes to try to find my accounts and then she apologized twice for taking so long and also put me on hold twice. Then she said what number did they called me and I gave her the real phone number then she said shd could not find any fraudlent activities reported on my account asked me to call the phone number on the back of my credit card. (how did she match my birthday and my fake credit card account ???) I asked her for that phone number since I don't have that number handy, then, she said she will be happy to transfer me after putting me on hold for a few seconds. Then I was on hold for more than 5 minutes so I hand up! Curious George !!!!

Chase never has this number listed under fraud department after I called the phone number on the back of my credit card. Good luck and hopefully your info is in a save hand !!!

just got a call from some people about some purchases on a TjMax Marsahall's credit card...wghich i don't have. they gave me this number to call back....3 people spoke to me...What's going on???? Be careful people...

The 955-9060 number called me, showed up as "Private" on my cell, and left a message saying it was fraud prevention and to call it. I did, refused to give any identifying information besides verifying that my card ended in XXXX, at which point she told me to call the number on the back of my card. I did, and that number resulted in a legitimate fraud prevention line with legitimate questions about my recent activity. The person had a note in her computer that I had called the 955 number and declined to give any information. That means that the 800 955 9060 number is definitely connected to Chase in some way.

THIS IS A SCAM - if you've received a call from that number or were told to call it regarding a credit card, whether you gave them information or not: call the number on the back of your credit card and REPORT FRAUDthere are nasty human beings out there

they called 15 times before i decided to check the number out. But i was asked to call 800 454 9078 and when i asked the guy to verify that He was from Chase he told me that I was calling 800 955 9060. I told him that i was a business account and he transfered me to another lady who could not verify any info and suggested that I call the number on the back of the card. I hung up right away!

This number is a scam. I recieved a message instructing me that there was suspicious activity on my credit card and that I should call 800-955-9060.Suspicious, I called an official phone number found on the Chase.com website and they verified that there was no activitiy on either of my accounts. To be certain, I had the Chase respresentative transfer me to the Fraud Department. The Fraud Department asked what phone number I was contacted at. I provided them with the phone number and they said that there had been not calls to that number by or on behalf of Chase. When you call the Chase main number they will ask for your name, last four digits of your account, mother's maiden name, zip code, etc. They will never ask for your full account number or social security number as these scam operations will.When you read the other posts here, ask yourself: (1) What do the people who claim that this phone number is legitimate have to gain? (Answer - your credit card, number, social security number and other personal information) 2. What do people who say that this number is illegitimate have to gain? (Answer - nothing)If you recieve a suspcious call you to the Chase.com webpage and click on the contact us link in the upper right hand corner for the official contact numbers.
