I got a call from 800-955-9060 from the Toys-r-us Mastercard fraud Dept. I don't own a toys-r-us card, so I called for 800 listings, got the t-r-us fraud number and called that. Turns out that Chase handles the T-R-Us account. The 800-955-9060 is a legitamate Chase Fraud Number.After being asked a bunch of questions to identify myself (none of them using current information--good going Chase), I was told that someone had applied for and received a T-R-Us card on my account. The fraud detection services worked for me.

I called the number on my card, was told that 800-955-9060 was legitimate.Called it but wound up hanging up on them. I agree completely with the people who complain about unprofessional behaviour from the people at the other end. I am still not sure what went on but I may just cancel my account with Chase just to be on the safe side.

I got a call on my cellphone and I ignored it since it was showing up as a unknown number. When I listened to the voicemail they said to call 1-800-955-9060. I was going to call to verify my account but then I remembered most businesses don't block their numbers. This was my first credit card that I just received and I almost got scammed. If you think this is a legit number then say bye bye to your money.

A man who said his name is Justin called my parents house and asked for me. He said there was unauthorized use on my Amazon.com account or credit card and he wanted my parents to give him my direct phone number. I don't do business on that account and I have very few credit cards. He left this 800 number and asked that I call him back. After reading this site, I'm not calling back. Thanks for helping.

That is a legit number and it appears your account has been compromised. I just contacted them and got it straightened out. Even if you don't use the account much, if it exists, someone else can stick it to you if you are not careful. Call Chase and check it out.

I received a call Sunday evening concerning my AARP card- they said they were checking on a possible fraud transfer on my card. They ask me to verify some information - ask me if I had ever live at - and gave me threeaddresses to verify - also ask about what other cards I carried, places that I had worked and also asked me for the three digit number on my card. I didn't realy think much about it at the time. Then later I started to worry about it as I have never received any calls like this before. So, I started checking phone numbers. This number was not listed anywhere in the informaton from AARP. Is this called legit??? If not what do I need to do?

I received a message to call 1-800-955-9060 concerning activities on my card that may have been fradulent this evening. I called the telephone number on hte back of my Chase card, input my last four digits of my account and was sent directly to the fraud department. i would suggest you do the same. Didn't inquire about the number left on my VM but Chase did tell me that they believed my last 3 transactions to be fradulent, they actually weren't and I appreciate the extra mile that they went through to mark my transactions as possible fraud, they were quick to contact me and quick to react (they put a hold on my account). Also, I tried to log into my account online and my account would not come up so this is actually a very good feature for Chase. No, I do not work for or am in the business of promoting Chase, I'm a full time student and full time secretary in the DC area.

I received a call from this number, but I instead called back the number on the back of my card. There had indeed been recent purchases of thousands of dollars that I had not made. I'm glad they called to notify me.

THIS IS A SCAM NUMBER, DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR INFO!!!!this is without a doubt a scam. what kind of loser, other than some crook trying to scam you, would get on here and try and convince you it's not a scam. They called my home 3 times this morning leaving messages. They said they were the fraud department at visa and asked us to call back. We called and the woman sounded extremely suspicious, so we asked to speak to her supervisor, who was a man with a thick accent. He also stumbled when we asked him to verify that he was visa. We then got a valid number off of visa's website. When we called visa they had no record of calling us, or of us calling them. This guy is a crook, report him.
