If you have an issue, eBay will contact you securely via email. This is the internet, with the same scammers having the ability to post that it's a legit number.Again, SCAM/Identity Theft. You have been warned.

I get calls like this regularly so I give my data. My bank account being empty and someone else using credit cards in my name is an honest mistake by the bank.
This is from Ebay. I called the number back and the recording said that from time to time they will call seller's to ask about the services. No action was required on my part. Sounds legit, but I still don't want to talk to them, so I will ignore for now.
Received a call from this number today (3/13/2013). Voice mail message left for me was a legit one that promotes eBay's new Global Shipping Program to reach more potential customers. It did not sound anything suspicious to me at least.

This number has been calling me for weeks. Finally answered it. No one is there. Finally after a second, someone says they are from EBay. Asks me to verify my name and email address so they can tell me about some program. I told them to send me an email. Fishy.
