Just got this call at 8:21 pm. Let it ring and go to voice mail. They listened to my greeting to the very end and then hung up. The recorded message was a pause, and then "click".You would think they would move on to the next call. Guess the night was slow and they hungered for a disembodied voice that wouldn't shout back at them for once.

i just got a call today, by the looks of it, it's an obvious scam.i'm going to report this to my local phone company and i suggest that you all do the same.

Hi just got the same call as everybody, i was saying that i was not intersted and she kept up and added to the package deal a extra week in mexico. they were very polite on t'ill i told her i was refusing the 2 week vacation at a total of 350$ insted of 500$ for 4 . So she hung up on me then so much for politness lolooo... my phone started to ring out a french women answring machine pick up and hangd up and the phone started to ring againd ,I hung up look it up on the net and this is what i find .Well i guess i got it this time but they are not going to get me a second time. But then im happy i have a long distants pland with my phone company.... do any of you have your land line trough cable internet ? could it be some new hacker trick to get in your pc and by pressing 9 you unwillingly grant them access ?

Moi aussi je viens de recevoir ce téléphone que j,ai gagné une croisière.Bien sûr que c,est faux. Pour pousser plus loin et voir à qui j,avais affaire, j'ai pesé le 9. puis un enregistrement téléphonique m'a ditque leur boîte vocale était plein et de raccrocher. Et en tentant d'appelerà ce 802-681-4148 eh bien quelqu'un de francophone répond et puis raccroche tout de suite ! j'ai rapporté le tout à ma compagnie de téléphone ainsi qu'à la gendarmerie royale, on ne sait jamais, il y a prudence à avoir pour être certain d ene pas avoir de fraude sur notre compte téléphonique !

Has sending the email done anything? The last thing I would want is for these people to get my email address if contacting them isn't going to make a difference.Thanks.

Well I'm not *sure* but when they called me I *thought* I heard them utter a threat against me or the president, etc...maybe I'll have to make a report to the secret service or fbi about that...but again, I'm not 100% sure I heard it but I *think* it was a threat...
