I just got a call from this number as well while I was at work. The answering machine has a blank sound to it and than a hangup. I also get 'The Number You Have Reached Is Not In Service' message when I call it.
Ce midi, j'ai pris mes messages sur mon répondeur de téléréponse Bell. Cette personne avait raccroché mais en faisant '5', nous pouvons savoir d'ou provenait l'appel. Il s'agissait de ce numéro. Je vérifié avec Canada 411 et j'ai vu ce forum. Par chance que ma fille n'était pas là car elle n'aurait pas su quoi faire avec cet appel.
A person asked to confirm my name. Upon confirmation, a recording came on and said that my bank accounts were empty. No way to contact the phone number or is it associated with any bank I deal with.
I received a call which said I have won a cruise. The guy tried to ask me my credit card number ... I did'nt give him and he HUNG UP ON ME!!!!!!
I've gotten several calls from these guys, but it comes up "Vermont"....As soon as I hear the automated voice I hang up.
Recoding offered to reduce interest on a credit card.Option 8 & 9.The announcement NEVER identified which card.I choose the option to not be called again.The recording said I had been removed and thanked me.Since I'm not in Vermont or even in country, I'm pretty sure this is some form of scam, be very careful.

The person called to verify employment of someone, but I didn't recognize the person's name. The caller had an accent, and I couldn't understand them. I didn't call back to let them know they had reached a wrong number.

Unsolicited call. Wanted me to complete my "voter profile." I've voted from this address for over 20 years.
It happened to me they got into my computer and got all bank info they took over $4000. from me left me with nothing. Don't trust anyone this was a setup.
