hangup and ignor them and they will go away

this person calls me all day and when I try to call back, it says number cant be reached by this method

804-518-2490 Says Card Holders.. they want you to take and consoldiate any credit cards you have with them .. push 1 to talk to someone I got James who i promptly told to [***] and stip calling for the 500th time. then made them aware that i would be reporting them as we are on the no call list and they can get a possible large fine he wuickly hung up!

Call from cardholder services stating there is nothing currently wrong with my credit card but advising me it's the final warning to lower my interest rates. When it says "press 1 to speak to a customer service representative" I do and a live person tries to confirm that I want to sign up. I then tell them I want to be removed from their call list and the person hangs up without saying anything further. I have tried ignoring the calls but they keep calling until I answer. They don't leave messages.

They called again the next day - March 26th, 4:11pm.

And again today - March 27th, 1:11pm.

So, for about 3 days the calls stopped. Then i got called on good friday but missed the call...Damn! :p Luckily they called back today and I blew a whistle in the phone after pressing 1. Then called their office a few dozen times for about 20 mins straight, got called a jerk by the secretary lol. (Funny how these guys get upset when you give them a taste of their own medicine). they have call display by the way too and stopped picking up my calls after a while. luckily i have a portable phone so it's easy to quickly redial.

3 days in a row, in the afternoon. Unfortunately for them, I do have a real day job, therefore, not home!

This registered message tells me that there's nothing wrong with may credit card but he can give me more protection and asks me to press a number (don't remember which one) There should be something that can be done to stop that "idiot" callingalmost every day. What can I do other than get an unlisted number?

It may be your final warning but it won't be the final call. You can expect the calls to keep coming with a different scam.To bad the government doesn't have the balls to stop this criminal activity but then they would lose the political donations.
