4-3-15 Got call, could not verify. They want information over the phone. I hung up.Sounds like some front group wanting information ( Gay rights - Gun laws - immigration - Hands up don't shoot)

caller requested return call @ 1-888-817-2153 about case number 102302. Male voice on phone machine.

I have been hsseled with calls from this number at times that is inappropriate and uncomfortable. If this is the census bureau the answere to all the questions posed can be found in documents they can acces. Thisis such an imposition and unbelievable! I am truely uncomfortable with this intrusion of my privacy!

I filled out the more legit looking gov. short form (may have not been the gov now) last summer asking how many persons living in my home and that was it, but now getting the this most intrusive BOOK asking very personal questions that they don't need to know for census(some are invasion of privacy). In the meantime before receiving this BOOK I received many very strange calls from different numbers to my cell about more threatening census questions that were personal (that I did not give them) and looked up their numbers online and was a scam originating in FLA, CO, GA and etc.. The BOOK we get in the mail says Resident of your address and on the form asks for your name and phone number on front page to contact you if needed and if you dont send in the form. they call your home. ???? I think the first form I sent in mail may have been a scam in the first place or it could of been for gov.census. Don't know. This BS has gotten people going in circles. If it is the gov. they need to understand this personal info. of our families is not going to be given out knowing it can be stolen in this day and age. Even the gov. is losing our personal info. to scammers/hackers. When you are threatened for not given out very personal information about your family by phone,emails and letters, to me is a scam. Also, a person can't have a answering machine for family, friends and etc.. because it gets filled up with BS even when you are to be on the no call list. Scammers and Hackers get a lot of your information anymore on the computer, even if you didn't put it on there and send you scam mail to your address.Speaking outSingle parent, trying to raise 2 kids

I called the US Census Bureau (got the number from their website) and spoke to a very unpleasant woman who says that this invasive survey I received in the mail is legitimate and that I am legally required to respond. The equally unpleasant woman who called me last week basically threatened me and said that the "phone calls will just keep coming" until I cooperate and answer all of these invasive, personal questions. STOP CALLING ME! It's none of your business how much money I make, how many rooms are in my house, how many vehicles I own, what I do for a living, etc, etc, etc!

they keep calling my cell phone after repeated requests tellin them to remove from their system.....

Pardon me on my letter I meant CRACKERS not hackersFill out the book but not with the very personal information, just in case its legit( for your community)

May 9, 2012 Just received a call from 'Census Bureau' asking all kinds of questions which I did'nt answer although the woman was very, very persistent! I have also received same kind of calls from different numbers as well. Going to report them to above mentioned. Hope everyone reports them. Maybe we can get it stopped.
