I also received a call from this number stating that they wanted to talk and go over a form that I haven't submitted. They also gave me an ID number for my case. I instantly thought, "Am I in trouble". I still haven't called back but yet if they really need to get ahold of me, they'll come over. I'm waiting on that or just a letter. Another senseless act from 'Merica, I ain't got time for this s**t..
Could you stop them from calling me,they tell me they are the census bureau . i have ask them to stop.
Wow, so this is fraud. I also have received numerous calls but I know that the Census Bureau does not have the money to be calling people and this is not an 800 #. I also filled out a form that looked totally legit. Will scammers never stop! Okay, now I know, I will totally ignore this number and even block it if I can. Someone needs to go after these crooks then!

These surverys are NOT mandatory and if you don't believe me...call the 800# at the Census Bureau in your state or the state the phone calls are coming from! In fact I have been getting these irritating calls and today I finally called got some information.The 2010 Census is mandatory.These other surveys ie. (household purchasing, etc) are not! You can refuse.
I got a call from 218-3144 (no area code) Census Bureau. A woman with pleasant voice introduced herself as Census Bureau employee and start asking questions. And when questions become more privet I just hung up. Because if it is even a legitimate thing, they have no right to ask such a questions... You just ignore this kind of things.If it is the Census, then It can't be mandatory.
I must say to your comments you are a FEDERAL EMPLOYEE your in a chair all day now your the lazy [***] and a Government Employee they work for people like me and the phone calls that you enjoy so much makes you look like a dipstick so for the USA the people that pay you get a job out of that chair THEN WE CAN TALK. I received a package from a rigging company in New York with my name and address but this phone number as my contact number.
Looking for a person (that was not me) about a legal matter.

Calls once or twice per week with voice msg "Brandon from CTS" call me back. WTF is CTS? No context, no real msg.
Phone number calls multiple times a day, once someone from my office picks up, it is dead silence on the other line. When you try to call back, it is a number that is not in service.

Shoplc. I don’t mind them calling if I have a problem but they called me 3 times in past 3 days to fill out survey they emailed. If I wanted to fill it out, I would have, I don’t need calls, plus I did fill one out but am still getting calls.
