constant calls every day that say I need to call them right away and state a case number when they call
3 months ago i got a new cell phone and 2 weeks later the calls started. Mostly the automated ones. Every other day i get a call from these people, I've called them back once, and told them i wasn't the person they were looking for. They said my name would be taken off the list... Still hasn't happened. I've gotten calls as early as 6 am on a Saturday to as late as 10pm. The few messages that they have left (not automated) has been hard to uderstand and downright rude. This is getting insane!
I got this call from a mr ford regarding a name i dont know when I asked if he had survival,I said i cant take that ride and hung up.....
This number has been calling us for a YEAR now. They stop for a few weeks and then they start up again saying they are "Debt Collectors". My husband and I are an elderly couple and don't have any unpaid debts. If they were legitimate they would write an official letter. How can I get them to STOP!!
Hi all Just seen you post and this company is now using a diffent name ,, i never answer but they do leave a meassage ..
I received a couple of phone calls, last week, from 1-(832) 476-1739, and today she/he, whoever is calling me, called me again twice. Since I do not answer my cell without recognizing the number in my screen, I allowed them to leave a message if it was urgent. The message is always unclear, and my best bet is that these guys are a bunch of idiots begging for attention by calling people randomly. Just report and ignore them! Tthey will eventually get tired of playing idiots and go away.
CAUTION! Wait a minute folks. Most states require that collection agencies be licensed and bonded in your state, even if they are calling from another state! Penalties can be stiff. (My state, the fine is $20K). Before firing off a letter, check with your state's Secretary of State website to see if they are registered and licensed. A quick Google search will tell you if licensing is required. Include in your debt validation letter a statement like, "Despite the fact that your company is not licensed or bonded in (state) I am sending this letter to protect my rights. Please cease and desist contact immediately. I have reported you to (state's) Department of Commerce." If enough people are doing this, they will stop and/or follow this portion of the law. I won my lawsuit against this very company, folks! AND, they are being investigated! If you answer the phone by mistake, as for the agent's license number. Each person at the agency MUST also BE LICENSED!!Hope this helps!
They called MY friend looking for my fiance and said he had given them the number in case they lost touch with them. He has never heard of these people before and when I called back to find out what it was about they would give me NO info just wanted a number for him so I gave them an old one! I know he never gave the number out to anyone except for a job referance.
Received two calls from 832-476-1739 and 832-476-1740 both said Avante USA on my caller id. Don't know who Tom Jacobs is or why he's calling. I have not been home the times he called. I just got a new phone number, maybe that's why but I am straighted out with all my bills, don't know what this guy wants.
This place is calling me and a female would not tell me her name and stated this was regarding a federal lawsuit.I then told her then if a federal lawsuit I want paper work. dumb person refused to give her name or what this is about. well being it on if a federal lawsuit. if this is a collection agency they did a wrong move and clam they are federal.
