Received a vm from a Tom Jacobs saying that this was a debt collection call and to return the call. Given that I would expect a debt collector to mail a letter first I looked up online and found this string of posts. I won't be returning the call. If they have our phone number, I'm sure they have/could find our address if this is legitimate. Phone # left was 1740 instead of the 39 on the caller ID.
Harris county is located in Houston Texas. I also got a letter and a call. I am currently doing my own investigation on who they are and their exact location, since I live here.
I received a call from this number at approximately 3:10pm. When I answered no one said anything. I've never heard of this place, and would like for the phone calls to stop please.
This number called me today rang a couple of times and went to voice mail. Mr. Number showed up as spam or fraud. They did not leave a message.
This is the 5th empty call I've received. They call, I answer Hello, and get nobody on the line. They never leave voicemail either. I read comments before me saying they're debt collectors, but I have no evidence of this from their calls because they just don't say anything.

This number is contacting me via text claiming that they are from Apple and that there is a problem with my account. 99.9% sure this is a scam. Be aware.
