This company called in the past looking for someone we don't know. They left the number 832-476-1740 to call back. They called again yesterday and I've had it. I filed a complaint with the do not call registry (probably a waste of time) and also the Houston Better Bus. Bureau. I would urge anyone else having problems with this company to do the same as it will be taken more seriously by the BBB. We do not owe any debt and the people at Avante were exceedingly RUDE when I asked them to please stop calling our home. If anyone else is still having problems with them, please reply back- as I am writing Avante and will not let them slide out of this this time.
I repeatedly get calls from the number (832) 476-1739. I've never even done business with this place or anything related to it. It is really getting annoying.
They all leave messages to return calls. We are not behind on any bills so we don't even know why they are calling and we will not be calling them back to find out.
They have called several times - I answered twice, just to get disconnected. Have no idea what they want - have had the same # for the past 6 years.
I recieved the IMPERATIVE message from this number. The guys name was ron peterson and my sister thought someone was calling from the police station or something because he was very persistant. He asked for my cell phone number because it was soooo important.
I've been receiving calls from this company for approximately onemonth. They call just about every day. They identify themselvesas a collection agency and state that it is extremely urgent thatI return their call.
I have had these jerks calling me asking for a Kim and when I told him for the thrid time that there was no Kim living here,he kept calling me Kim,saying that I had given him the number to begin with!he never even told me his name,I finally had to get really rude with him and he hasn't called back since.
My husband was hurt at his job when he was 17 years old. The insurance company paid the hospital not the doctors (they never received the bill). We have never received a bill in the last 9 years. Out of nowhere about a month ago we received a call from a very rude ignorant collection agency (Avante USA). After some research we finally figured out what they could be talking about so we did some digging spoke w/ his old employer as well as the insurance company. They advised they didn't know about the bill but would be happy to pay it....problem solved right? NO WRONG!....Avante contacted us back and we told the what was happening we told them we needed a bill sent and insurance would pay...they were not happy w/ that they told us we needed to pay the bill now..they were so mean and rude the things that came out of their mouths, absolutely unbelievable. The have told us 5 times now that they would mail or email a paper to us, we have yet to receive anything. About a week or so ago the insurance company was nice enough to send the money w/o receiving a bill but do you think the calls have stopped? Ofcourse not. The called again today my husband who is way calmer then I am tried for the 7th time probably to explain the situation. The ignorant female on the phone could have cared less so I got on the phone and tried to calmy explain what was going on, when I finished she said I don't know if you thought you were going to change my mind by getting on the phone and before she could finish what she was saying I finally lost it. I will be contacting the BBB tomorrow. This is not how you conduct business.
