if you get a debtor on the phone, and you disclose this is an attempt to collect debt, any information obtained will be used for that purpose. this call is being recorded... good afternoon sir, you owe speedy cash 350 dollars from a loan stemming from last year.thats enough not to warrant a letter to be sent. why would i send a letter out to someone if they know the debt is valid? as soon as they say yes i took this out, guess what ? again no letter is needed to be sent because they verified its owed.the only time a validation of debt letter is required to be sent is if the debtor is disputing the debt. period...

The message left on my answering machine stated that it was an attempt to collect a debt. The woman identified herself as Chelsea. Since I don't have any delinquent debts I'm going to wait until she calls back. Maybe I can get more information.
