12/28/16 9:50 AM received a call from 513-725-4138 on the caller ID, didn't answer left message saying that it was Reina Allred and to call back to lower my electric bill. They needed my information and it was free. Number to call him direct is 847-423-0080. Did not call. Both numbers scammer!
I got a call on voicemail from Ben saying he could lower my electric bill and to call back. No number showed up on my recent calls,
Original call was from phone # 518.730.0684: Hi there my name is Ben PLEASE call me back today with a copy of your electric bill so we can apply these savings for you that it looks like you guys might qualify for I will be at my desk all day today you can call me at my direct number is 847-423-0080 just takes minutes to apply give me call back today
Got the exact same call as Julie reported. Really - give me a break, someone calling out of the goodness of their heart to save me money? I don't think so. He's called twice.
Got the exact same call as Julie and Joan, sounds like Ben's making the rounds today. Originating number was 682-205-8244.
I don't know what the originating number was because it never rang my cell phone but went directly into voicemail without showing on caller ID, which has never happened before. It was the exact same message as Julie except the caller's name was Darren.

This is a SCAM-Goes to voice mail and asks you to leave your SSN. The social security admin will never ask you to leave your SSN on a voice mail. Letter looks very official, but it's not.
