Boy, they are on a roll today. Ben called me regarding lowering my electric bill. He left his number, I did not call back.

Message left from a phone number 19724531499 at 3:30 pm" This is Ben PLEASE call me back today with a copy of your electric bill so we can apply these savings for you that it looks like you guys might qualify for. I will be at my desk all day today you can call me at my direct number is 8474230080 just takes minutes to apply give me call back today" The fact that he presented himself as just Ben was a dead give away for me. Not saying what electric company you are calling on behalf was a red flag

Got the exact same message. Did not call back

I had the same thing happen only my caller was "Bob". My phone # and name aren't even associated with my electric bill. How can you block these jerks when there's no phone number? How do they go directly to voice mail without the phone ringing?

I got a phone call from a Texas number today leaving this number to call back to lower my electric bill. I did not call the number back and it had gone straight to voicemail

I got the exact same message, also from "Ben". Call originated from Ohio # (937) 972-0887

"Ben" left a message to call him at same 847 number though caller ID showed 937 9720898. They want a copy of my elec. bill so they can steal the acct. # and apply it to a new account. It's a scam. Don't fall for it. I did call back and got a hard sell so I told him either to stop or I'll block him which I did anyway.

Same thing here. Same caller ID number same call direct number from Ben wanting to "save me money on my electric bill". I wouldn't call, however, his message was extremely polite which would possibly entice others to call him back.
