received call this A.M. No message.

they will not leave messages because they do not have a leg to stand on. trying to collect debts 20+ years old...ridiculous! It is hard to do but just keep ignoring the calls. A new phone number pops up every week! there is a very long list of them and I know they will call and call forever...wish I had the money to fight them and sue them.

Another number to add to the Portford Recovery scam artists.

I have been getting calls constantly for the last 2 months on my cell phone from 3 different numbers and never a message. I also received collection letters in the mail giving me 2 different options to settle my debt with Portfolio Recovery for a bill I don't owe. I've never heard of the company that I'm supposed to owe this money to. I even checked my credit report and they don't appear there either. I am thinking of finally answering the phone the next time they call armed with a whistle. Maybe if they get their ear drum blown out it might make them think twice about calling on a Sunday morning at 7:00am!

Called back and " the system is experiencing difficulties. Call back later "This is totally bogus. And irritating!

Rude female caller. Stated I owed Bank of America 10,000 dollars. I've never had a loan with B O A. I asked for her name and her supervisiors number. She got hostile then. I asked if I could record our conversation. She hung up.
