When they get your cell phone number and run up your voicemail minutes, the thing to do is to get a "silent" ringtone. What you do is download the ringtone, add their number to your contact list, and then assign the silent ringtone to that contact. No more 5 minute voicemails from them.
So I kept getting calls from these people. Like 5X a day for the past year. I was so tired of it that I called and talked to a lady and told her that I do not have a debt and that I don't know why they keep calling me. She looked it up by my phone number and said some ones name that I have no idea who they were. I told her that I used to get calls for someone who had my number a long time ago. She said that she was sorry and she said that she will take my number off and that nobody should be calling me anymore...We will see...
Called me today, once on this number and then this morning on another. 704-410-7069. No messages.They can [***]. I set mr call block to block all numbers not in my phone book and all "private/blocked" numbers. Bite my *** bloodsuckers...

got a call today and they are trying to get me for a 2001 debt...how dare they get calls all the time - this was wiped out years ago and now they are trying to collect it how can this be allowed!!!!!
These idiots have been calling me for over two years and I have no clue why. I reported them to FCC but that did no good. Sent an email to the attorney general and the reply I received was equally as irritating as the calls. I was told that when their name/number shows up on CID to simply not answer and eventually they will stop calling. Smart huh? This is what we pay these clowns for??? So, just recently I have taken to blowing a whistle into the phone; if it is a pre-recorded message that probably does no good but I know that there are real people on the other end from time to time. Gives me great satisfaction!

Sounds like a potential call center scam.
Said they were from Bank of America calling me about a fraud alert on my account. When I told them I do not have an account with B o A - they hung up on me. Ironic!
They said it's a business call from northern light. Not real and clearly spam. Northern light must have its phone numbers data leaked.
Called today and left no message. No caller ID, so I did not pick up the call.
