Same problem here, I got several calls (Animated recordings) in the last few days from 844-320-6431 and they left this message saying ' to call 855-976-6756 or to write to (PO box 403 Don Mills ontario M3C 2T2). I went to my bank and they said that the 844-320-6431 number is not a Scotia Bank number. My question is how did these scam artists get the phone numbers of Scotia Bank costumers in the first place. I think we all should not only go to our bank branches about this, but also consider going to the authorities about this scam as we are all getting the same thing repeatedly. This message comes over my cell phone too. My bank said it was a scam so luckily I did hang up
Got a call from 1 844 30 6431 and asked me to call back to 8559766756. They claim to be Scotia bank.However, this is a scam. I didn't call back since it is fishy.
If you get a call from 1-844-320-6431 or 1-855-976-6756, it is a scam. They are not Scotiabank. I actually called the Scotiabank number from their website and it was confirmed that these guys are scammers. Be careful. Always google numbers before calling them if you can. Scotiabank has been dealing with these scammers for the last 3 months now, according to the person I was talking to.

Got few calls and leaving messages claiming to be Scotia bank and asked to back at 8559766756 and the automated voice is actually looking for someone else rather me so I thought I search it and YES definitely a SCAM. Don't bother calling backThanks for the info
I get these calls daily. The phone never rings, just a voicemail alert. If the phone rang I could block the number. I just ignore them but they're getting annoying.
Same as the others in this thread, call from 844-320-6431 asking for a callback. I also received a text message earlier in the day from an automated number. Had both my name and my wife's name.
they have been calling me for months and months. always the same. I asked scotia bank after the message changed to we have been trying to reach you. Its not scotia bank. they give the address to a branch in ontario ..but the # is not scotia bank

called and then hung up, left him a kurt voicemail about wasting peoples time. scammers are prevalent, be careful and don't answer this call
