I receive an automated message 1 to 2 times a week claiming to be from ScotiaBank, asking me to call 855 976 6756.....when I call back, an automated message prompts me to answer personal information. I hang up...sounds fishy
Same like the rest of the people here: got an automated v-mail message from 844-320-6431, claiming to be Scotia Bank and asking me to call them back at 855-976-6756. Never called them back, but almost fell for it, as they stated my full legal name, which I very rarely use. That did make it sound legitimate, but I instead called the **real** Scotia Bank and they confirmed this is a scam.
I also have been receiving calls, not just one or two but for the past week it has been 3 a day. I since have blocked the the number and now my phone doesn't ring just alerts me that I have a voicemail and it's from "Scotiabank". I have called and reposted this to the bank 3 times now, each time confirming it's a scam. Do not call.
I've been receiving calls from this number on my cell phone. They leave a message, and if you call back the number, it asks you to confirm who is calling. At that point, I hung up.

I have been receiving several calls from this number on my cell phone in these couple of months. Say from Scotia Bank calling. It appears to be a scam.
I got one today too. Fortunately, as a longtime Scotia customer, I know about the 1-800-4SCOTIA number and thought it was weird that they would tell me to call 1-855-976-6756. It is troubling that they have your full name and phone number (mine isn't listed)...
I received a lot of these calls lately. I normally don't answer them as I know it's fake. But they are leaving voice mail now. I just wonder how they get our info.
