BTW - my father used to sell robodialers back in the 80's and I would often record the audio track that was played and go through the response recordings. It was good income at the time. As for who got called? We would set an area code and prefix such as 858-412-0000 thru 9999 and hit go.

I don't answer calls that have Unavailable, private number etc. and also if no message is left. They just waste their time. Dumb people.

I've read other posts and it looks like this number is being used by scammers. Using a law firm name to say you owe for nonpayment. I received the same call today as well.

"This is Jeanette from Pico California" asked for me by name... not answered, message said will try again later. www.picocalifornia.org ... the web site that comes up. Funny that it states it is not affiliated with any political party, but all the "positions" and "issues" are clearly one-sided and in many cases extreme.

Got a call too! So tired of this when on the do not call list!

858-412-0172 Repeat caller to both my house and cell number. He says one word which I can't make out and then its a disconnect. I can hear a lapse prior to them talking as if they are piggy-backing on someone else line??? Weird!

I have had calls from this number also--but I refuse to answer. If I do not recognize the number or the area code--I will not answer.

get calls from this number every dayI am on Do Not Call list but doesn't do any good. I do not answer unknown numbers. I figure if important fhey would leave message on voicemail.
