Jem - Don't blame the actual owner of the number for the call. In all probability, she had nothing to do with it. The scammers just spoof a random number, sometimes it actually will belong to a real person or a real company, sometimes not. And again a reminder to all of you folks who complain about the do not call registry. That also has nothing to do with whether you get a call or not. The crooks probably have never seen the DNC list, and if they have, they don't care. If they aren't working from an actual list, they are just calling every number in any given exchange. It doesn't matter to them how many calls they make, especially with the advent of computers. If they get one person out of a million calls to give them a credit card number, they've scored.
Who ARE these nasty people???? If ever I find an address that corresponds with this number, I'll be camped on their front lawn.
Got a call from this number, played a recording from "the customer service department" (no company name) offering a vacation promotion. We are on the do-not-call list. The caller ID showed "cell phone."

Call came in at 3:41P.M. on February 9, 2026. No spoken message was left. I checked the missed call box that read not in service. I checked the phone and there was a dial tone. I assumed the call was a scam.

Calls once or twice per week with voice msg "Brandon from CTS" call me back. WTF is CTS? No context, no real msg.
