Bottom fishers.... . Trying to collect debts that are over 8 years old and off your credit record. slimly people.
I believe in most States the statute of limitation has run on this debt. That is if you owed them any money to begin with. Don't pay them a dime. Just report them to the BBB.
Received 2 calls close together at 8:15 this morning. Thanks to everyone who posted information here! No message was left (not surprising.)
It is a debt collector who was trying to collect debt on what I can only assume as an old cable tv account for my ex wife.6+yrs ago. When I called them back after continous calls, I asked to be removed from their calling list. We will see what happens. I spoke to an AKA Kendra Hilton. In the middle of her yelling at me, I was able to obtain a physical address of the Corp. Office, I question the authenticity of it, but, she told me it was 140 Corporate Blvd. Northfolk, Va 23502.I traced the call using my *57 feature. When I tried to tell her that if she continued to call I would further address it, she said to quit threatening her. LOL. Their Co. is the one that should maybe try a better tactics and business practices than calling, yelling and hanging up on you. They might be a bit more productive and actually help people pay off and satisfy old debt. JACK [***] in my opinion!!

If you really want to stop this craziness just invest in the Panasonic KX model phone system or any of the myriad number of cheap call blockers that you can find on line. These nincompoops started to call me about 3 years ago, 2 or 3 times a day 7 days a week about a 15 year old $30.00 cell phone bill supposedly from Power-Tel now known as T-Mobile that was cleared up 15 years ago (November 17, 1999) but some how made it to the junk debt buyer files. What's the use, I couldn't convince them that it was paid in full 15 years ago. They don't want to be convinced.Anyway, I have a Panasonic KX system set to "Do Not Ring On First Ring" and by then it is intercepted and blocked by the Panasonic KX call blocker plus I'm registered with NOMORO so their calls ever reach my ear. Their 300+ phones number never ever rings in. The only way I know that they've called is whenever, and I mean whenever, I decide to check my caller id. So, they can call 24/7 365 and I will never know it, never hear it, just see it on my caller id.
