I did google this number when they called me, but they left a voicemail. It was actually from a wine subscription service about a credit card transaction (that I had authorized.) But sure enough, the number they gave me to call back was not this number, but another 877 one. Perhaps they've bought it and are using it legitimately - I haven't seen any negative reviews here since 2007. Just an update.

I googled the number and, since I am a VAR Business subscriber and would like to continue receiving...I answered.Silence on the other end. I wait for a good 10 seconds. While I wait, another line rings from the same number. I pick that up. Silence. Then a hang-up.What a bunch of ice-holes.
That's me on August 3rd. A robocall almost every day this week, rang 3 times and hung up. Today, 2 voice messages. No sound on the 1st message, an hour later someone fishing papers in the background and saying hello on the 2nd message. Who are these [***]? If I wasn't in an office I'd take the sage advice of GFY from March 3rd and scream at them until they hung up.
