This is exactly what happened to me. They said they had my husband on a land line who called them to tell them something was wrong with my computer and that I needed to sit in front of my computer. I said no thanks and hung up.
We are a business and on No call list - he told me they needed to run a diagnostics on my computer. I hung up.
Said his name was "sam".....I replied that he was calling on a corporate phone and asking about a corporate asset. He hung up.
Received a call from this number. Some lady saying she was a computer tech. I told her that I didn't believe her and hung up. This is a scam.
Some guy with a foreign (Pakistani/Indian) accent. He told me my computer was at risk and he wanted me to access my computer to give him information about it. I told him I was an expert at computers and that he was full of sh*t. He hung up.

Claims to be from a roofing team. Somehow knows real name and city. I keep getting texts like this from different numbers, they stop responding when I ask how they have my number.
