Called cell phone, but did not answer...to find out on here, it's a good thing I didn't! You should never answer calls you are unsure of..especially ones that are out of your area!

Also adding it was a call from "Manchester, CT"

Just received a call from this number. Some guy (American), who sounded stoned said he was from Geek Squad and asked me to get onto my computer. I asked him if he was crazy and hung up.

A woman on the phone with an Asian (similar to Indian) accent said that she was from the Geek Squad and my computer using Windows had a virus. I asked her 3 times why she thought I had a problem, then accused her of spying on my computer (just to see if she would offer any more info), and finally told her that my computer was working great and I did not call the Geek Squad and hung up. Pretty sure she wasn't any of the people from Best Buy who call themselves the Geek Squad that I have met.

So "Phillip" called me from this number today 11-7-15 at 10:23pm eastern standard time. He did have what I would describe as a "middle eastern" or "Indian" accent. If that's not PC enough for you, I do apologize. If I had a gun to my head and had to describe his accent, that's what I'd say.So my buddy Phil tells me his with some company. I made him repeat it twice but still couldn't discern what he was saying. I have a crap ear for accents being up in New Hampshire. He tells me my Windows computer is infected and is sending out some kind of "virus signal" (Real sci-fi channel stuff). Now, I'm hearing the guy out because I do have one work computer in my home office, and an outsourced IT company that can basically take it over at any time. (Whatever company he was from didn't sound like "Vericlaim" to me.)But I tell him I don't have a Windows computer. He says "Oh you have an Apple Computer?" I say "Who do you work for again?" he mumbled through fictional company name again and tells me they do maintenance and recovery services on Windows AND Apple Computers." "Oh you guys do Apple now too? That's great! Hey Phillip what's your last name?" "What do you mean?" Now accent or not, this guy speaks his second language better than I do. He damn well knows what a last name is. I'm reasonable. I rephrase. "Your surname?" "Yes. What do you mean?" I explain the basics of his first name is Phillip, so his last name is _____. My man P'Deazy is getting quiet on me. I continue "I just want to know who's trying to help me out here, because this sort of sounds like a scam." DIAL TONE! End scene.BeeTeeDubbs, I'm a Fire Investigator with a decent amount of experience in Fraud Investigation.

Calling multiple times and no one there. No answer when called.

9/22/15, morning: Caller ID shows Manchester CT -- man speaking foreign language sounded Arabic. Spoke for about 30 seconds, hung up. Same/similar language of someone else in background.

Answered call. Took about thirty seconds to finally hear a woman speaking very broken English who said "I am a computer technician " I said What!? She repeated that again. Then said she was calling about my computer problems. I said I'm reporting you! You are a scammer since anyone who actually works for a company would announce their business name right off and guess what! I don't even have a flipping computer and on the do not call list! She hung up on me after I said that! Tried calling the number back and it says the number is not in service!!! REPORT THIS NUMBER

A foreign woman called and said there is something wrong with my computer. I hung up. Had many of these calls and they are all a scam. NO computer company will call you unless you call them first.
