Have received two of these calls on my cell. Did not recognize the number and didn't answer. I called the number back and got no answer. Went on the internet and did a reverse look-up. It shows a "private" number in Mass. Didn't want to pay to find out who owns it but, there is a similar scam going on where they tell you they are from the IRS or some other government agency and try to get you to pay "an old bill or delinquent taxes". I tracked that particular number to the east coast but, the calls were routed from outside the U.S. through that number according to an investigation going on. Supposedly those people have taken in 15 million in this fraud. If you listen closely when they call, you can probably hear a bunch of other people talking in the background. All with foreign accents. It sounds like a boiler room calling center. I would just ignore the number if you don't recognize it when your phone rings. If you do get such a call, DON'T GET RATTLED. Just start asking them for what account numbers they are calling about or what year taxes. Things they wouldn't know unless they are legitimate. In fact, my wife got one of these calls and they didn't know her name. They tried to get information out of her. Don't answer any of their questions. Ask them questions if you absolutely must talk to them and can't resist a ringing phone. Oh yeah, one guy said he was with the IRS and gave a badge number. The IRS doesn't call people and they don't have badge numbers.

didn't recognize number...picked up...did not say anything...listened for 7 seconds...nothing but line was live...hung up

Caller ID: Constitution LU...did not recognize # so did no answer and no message left on recorder

Some foreign Indian accented male call my Government cell phone stating my window 8 computer had an issue and wanted to get on line with me to solve the problem and help update it to Windows 10. Which was impossible because the phone he/ they called was a DoD Government phone and the Windows 8 computer, that was not powered on, not on line at the time is my 22 yr old Daughters, not associates with either my Government phone number or my personal cell phone, and I have a secure network in my house.DO NOT TRUST THIS #, 860 area code is a CT area code so they were spoofing to hide the number they were really calling for. PLEASE REPORTTHIS NUMBER AND ITS LOCATION AS FRAUDULANT AND ILLEGAL

Call all times of day I do not answer no message left. Very annoying.

I constantly get calls from this number. I used to just decline the call, but finally answered yesterday and it was some guy with a foreign accent trying to tell me he was calling about my computer lol...I told him he was full of crap and hung up...I instantly knew it was a scam...What's creepy is that after that call I blocked the number and today, just like 5 minutes ago I just got another call from the same number...I don't understand how they were able to get thru since I blocked the number...When they called today I answered and they didn't talk, just sat there with a live line...After about 10seconds I just hung up...Really weird

I kept him on the line, then said he had been on the line enough to track, I was with ISA and someone would be there to arrest him.

Multiple calls on a private cell phone from this number. The calls come in at all times of the day/night. I finally answered and told him to put me on their "do not call" list.Foreign accent.Claimed there was something wrong with my computer. I told him he needed a better scam.

Just got the call from 860-646-5825...scam, said my computer was infected. Wanted me to do some stuff, told them no thanks and guy hungup...also foreigner.

My wife and I both have cell phones we got the same call from 860-646-5825 the next day I tried returning the call. Recording said the number was disconnected. I filed a complaint with the National Do Not Call Registry.
