I am so glad I picked up the phone. I just won a free Cruise to the Bahamas and all it cost me was some money for incidentals. Just realized I did not give them my address, so I don't know how they will get the tickets to me. Now I am wondering if maybe I should not have given them my info.
Company called to inform me that on my last visit to their resort, I was not offered the 'special' deal for members. It went on to say that if I rented an Avis car I would get to return to the resort of my choice for $299 or more for 7 days. Really? I have not been to a resort in the last 5 years!!!!!Do not answer this CT number
This number has called my home phone at least five times since 6/30 (that's as far back as the Caller ID will go). Called this morning at 10:41 a.m. and yesterday at noon. Caller ID lists it as a "Cell Phone, CT."
I received a call a few minutes ago and it is actually a robot telling me that it is customer service and did not say what company, I actually talked back to the robot and said "I cannot believe that I am listening to a robot" - the next thing that it said to me was "sorry to bother you" and hung up. best way to avoid this call again is to block the phone number from your cell phone.

Got my name wrong, no where near close to the person they're trying to scam/contact. Call came from North Texas, left no company name, nothing. Shady asf, 888 area code is commonly used by scammers so this may not be legit.

Sent an email trying to encourage people to call Bank of America at this number. As phishing attempt go, this one was better than most. I can smell these things a mile away.
