I use a caller id app (White Pages ID), so even cell #s come thru, with location. The call I just received (not answered), I saw on my screen: Internet Call, Hartford, CT with a spam level 9/10, with 1320 people reporting them. With that app, you can see "who" called and other details (which could be compromised by spoofing apps). I just focus on the 9 out of 10 spam level. This is a phishing tactic. Go to www.donotcall.gov to stop future buy/sell of our phones. There is a BAD Verizon issue that I just read... I have Verizon, so it possibly has to do with that. Curious to see what carriers that all of you have...
Calls from 8609292572 daily they do not leave a message who are they and how can I get them to stop calling
I too have Verizon and HAVE just purchased a prepaid Verizon phone. But I will NEVER let my land line go. (I think I have the best of both worlds). Complainers: If you too want to keep your land line, there is no way to deal with this except to PURCHASE A CALL BLOCKER. (I did and have stopped 99% of spam calls).
Answered this call but there was silence on the other end. Will never answer this number again.

Got my name wrong, no where near close to the person they're trying to scam/contact. Call came from North Texas, left no company name, nothing. Shady asf, 888 area code is commonly used by scammers so this may not be legit.

Sent an email trying to encourage people to call Bank of America at this number. As phishing attempt go, this one was better than most. I can smell these things a mile away.
