My fervent wish is for an itch they cannot reach for at least a month to keep these miscreants to busy to continue their scams;

This number just called ... Can u hear me ok ? Me : who is this? Caller: great thank you mam and hungs up... Tried to call back ... Verizon number... Be careful outthere!

These [***] called me, I didn't answer, but got the joy of hearing my new ringtone.

Didn't recognize the number, didn't answer. They left no message. Reading through these comments the bulk of these calls seem to be hitting Connecticut, so I told this to the DNC on their further info section. Every bit of info we can give them helps.

Calls are designed to see if they have a "live one", and as soon as you engage, it encourages more activity. Best advice from Security companies is to just don't answer the phone. Law enforcement does not follow up on these much, so we have to protect ourselves and our family, by ignoring.

Calls cell, hangs up, leaves no messages. Ignores no call list. I do not trust this person.

The Answer is to DISCONNECT your Land Line! The Phone company knows who originates these calls & the offer a blocking service if you pay them 17.00 a month. I have a better idea.. Now that both my Tivo & Alarm company have gone to using wireless or Ip signals. Why don't I just eliminate the landline service. Both of my BNLaws have disconnected their landlines and gone to Prepaid wireless cell phones.. Guess what? They don't get anymore solicitation calls..
