It's not cell phone companies that are selling our numbers, it's a combination of them cold calling their phones just dial numbers and also magazine companies and places we sign up for
I just got a phone call from this number and there was no one on the other line. I looked it up before calling it back and the comments seem to say it is a scam. I do work in Hartford as an adjunct and I thought it was the school calling. The thing is I am on the do not call registry. If they call back I am blocking the number.
I've gotten a call from this number several times - once today, August 7, July 27, July 24 (that's as far back as Caller ID goes). Comes up as "Cell Phone CT" on Caller ID. Never leaves a message.
This guy called my phone 12 times yesterday. Its from a guy that calls himself Clermon Hebert. I don't know who this guy is so I didn't pickup. He's called several times in the past almost every day. Poor frustrated moron must know by now his phone number is blocked.
This number calls multiple times a day. Never leaves a message. I wish we could get these type of calls stopped. Wish we could block them Seriously thinking about discontinuing land line.
I got called a few times. First time there was no one there. Next call a few weeks later started with the cruise scam.Hung up.
Keep getting calls from this number. No messages left. Very annoying as some times it is three or more calls a day. When called number back says Verizon disconnected number

Someone using this number called, when I answered there seemed to be there cut I said "hello" twice and no one said a thing. I hung up. If it was a collector they would not only answer but keep you on the line for as long as it took.

Yes. The caller claimed to represent Document Delivery Services and threatened to serve me with papers from a fifteen year old debt. A check with my local County Clerk’s Office revealed no evidence of lawsuit filed.
