Some woman from "the corporate office" called MY NEIGHBOR to try and reach my daughter. My daughter has not lived here in over two years but THEY won't listen to reason. I'm glad I have caller ID, I don't even bother with the call.

i only owe them like 300.and they are really not understanding money troubles.can they issue warrant?did they threaten you ? how long was it when you took the loan out

I have received two such calls that appeared as 1-866-354-0567 on caller ID. Foretunately I did not answer the calls and let them go to voicemail . The message said it was for a Monee Harris in regards to Cash One Corporation and to call Lee Richardson of the Pre-Legal Dept of BCCI at 800-897-0381 Ext 4023 and a final warning of "You will not get away with it"Talking with several colleagues at work, all of who like me do not have any unpaid bills or other financia matters referred to collection agencies, many said their social security numbers were requested. Reading some of the other posts, SSN's were asked for as well. BE AWARE, these calls are a scam and you should NEVER give out your SSN to an unknown caller or where the call was not initiated by you. You run the risk of identity theft. Best advice here is to screen all your calls on cell phones and land lines. DO NOT ANSWER NUMBERS YOU DO NOT RECOGNIZE! Let the caller leave a message and decide whether to reply.

I, like many others, have defaulted on a loan with checksmart. I lost my job when my 6 month old had to have brain surgery!! that was two months ago. I've tried to work with them and told them i would make arrangements when i got a job or had a little extra. they were ok for a while but they turned it over to their 'corporate office' well i'm getting about 5 calls a day from this number and they are extremely MEAN!! and for some reason i'm only aloud to talk to ONE person Mr. stablison (sp)here is what he said to me today (he was VERY arrogant and YELLING this mind you)"you better start talking to your friends and family Danielel because i'm going to!!! I'm going to call you however many times i want to and i'm going to talk to you however i want to AND your going to like it!! You stole OUR money and i'm going to harass you, your family, and your references. I will be calling tomorrow and the next day and the day after that so get used to it!! "when i told him he had no right to talk to me like that ... i had called to try to set up arrangements he said.."You write bad checks!! OOOHHH i'm so scared i'm shakin!! what are you going to do about it, run around and cry that i'm being mean bc u wrote me a bad check... lol.... whaaaaaaaaaa!! "then he hung up!!!! I've never been treated so horribly in my life! I'm calling the CFSA tomorrow ... he doesnt deserve to have a job!! and better yet checksmart doesnt need to exsist!!oh and their messages says Corporate office of BCCI recovery...caller id says checksmart and when they answer they call themselves Checksmart Corporate office....

Please stop calling this number. Do not know who you are calling for. This is very upsetting to me. I have told you this time and time again.

Yeah, they have been calling me too and said some girl I have not spoke to in 6 YRS!!! used me as a reference and said I was her sister. I have told them several times SHE IS NOT! After telling this idiot to stop calling me he says, "I don't think you understand that she listed you on a legal binding document to resolve this issue, and I can have further action be taken!" I told him I didn't sign [***], and they are the ones that loan money to people with out making sure the information is correct. I have him on voicemail stating his ext. with the company, and a name he uses. I'm listing them on BBB website, writing a letter to their corp., and FWD all their nasty messages to my mothers lawyer. I no longer have just beef with the company, i'm also pressing charges on the caller. EXT. 4107 is a real prick, and I'll show his [***] a binding document!

Yes some lady named Rianne from ChecksMart, at ext. 4092 called me saying I'd made arrangements with my credit card and that there was a problem and that she would demand "payment in full" immediately if I did not return her call right away. I have NEVER used checksmart, and only a small amount of people had this cell # of mine as I had just changed it recently. However, my mother is a lawyer, and I work for the government. I let her and a few co-workers hear it and was advised to first call back and see what the voicemail was all about. I was freaking out at first because I thought someone had stolen my creidt card #.Unlike most of you, when I called the woman was very pleasant (as was I) and she politely said they didn't even have my number in the system and that they would remove my cell # from their data base. She never asked for my SSN #. I did mention to her, however, that next time, she should be more careful about who she calls and leaves threatening voicemails to. They have not called back as of yet. I hope it stays that way.

We just got a call from that number. A man identified himself as calling from Mr Knoxs office and asked for my husband. I told him he was not in and he told me to give him a message. He said my husband had until July 31st to take care of the defaulted check or the county attorney would be notified and this is a felony! I said we would'nt have the money by then and he said this is not a negotiation you pay it or go to jail on a felony.Look foe the Sherriff's office to arrest him . Can they do that?My husband recently had a heart attack and we are trying to catch up on things.
