Looking for an Aisha Mohammed...what the heck? and she insisted that i am the Aisha person and that she was trying 2 help me. i tried to say...'it is not me'..'you got the wrong number' but nothing. The STUPID woman kept on yelling at me. How dare they...Checksmart corporate office! She supposedly removed my number off the list......WE WILL SEE.

The voicemail they left me was from corporate office of California Check Cashers.

This is a companys everday and will not even list to you about some person that does not live here! I even explained this several times and was even made fun of on the fun by a manger. Does anyone know anything about this company!!!!

I have never done business with this company and do NOT want them calling me!

My boss at work just got a collection call for someone that does not work for our company. She tried to tell them they did not work here and the collection agent (a male) started to call her a liar and so on. She asked to speak with a supervisor and demanded the name of the company. They would not give any information. We called back and after a long fight a different male transfered our call to Checksmart, the woman there had no info about the company. As We were talking to her I was researching this info and told her that it is indeed their collection agency and we are reporting their abuse.

yeah your right I finally just got a hold of them- if you borrowed money FROM cheksmart, or another company under them, this is the corporate office trying to get a hold of you for their money back. or if someone put you down as a reference (in my case) they're trying to get you to track down the borrower.

I actually work in the Payday lending industry and the behavior that is described in the above posts is horrible. The company that is in question here "CheckSmart" is a member of the CFSA, a governing organization for the payday industry. All of these incidents should be reported to the CFSA not to mention the fact that in some of the above incidents they were actually breaking federal collections laws. Know the laws and companies like this cannot treat you in this manor.

We have been receiving several(6-9) calls per day from 866-354-0567 for one of the temporary employees at our factory. It is bad enough to repeat the same number of times they need to call the temp agency that she works through. It is very much beyond simple rudeness and is harrassment to be screamed at, insulted and now even threatened by these people. It is unfornunate this person ever borrowed money from them. She has a DNR against her here (do not return) as a direct result of the complaints from the receptionist, making it even harder for her to pay them back. These companies should not even be allowed to call the workplace.
